Edition #55 Notes Joanna Muñoz is a Filipino designer, lettering artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, CA. Her studio Wink & Wonder is best known for its whimsical letterforms, adorable illustrations, playful color palettes and uplifting messages, infusing each piece with meaning and fun. In short: Joanna is all wholesome vibes. We agreed to start off the year with something kind, uplifting, and beautiful. A design that shares you are loved. A notebook that affirms you are loved. Yes, you! We printed the art onto a beautifully textured, shiny, soft, tactile fabric called crushed velvet. The colors coordinate throughout with a light blue bookcloth and orange gold thread. I printed a repeating "loved" pattern onto handmade lokta paper for the decorative endsheet.
