Feeling indebted to the tribe, he decided to stick around to pay off his debts. As he got to know the crusaders, Kai began to see the injustices they were fighting against. He was impressed by their bravery and selflessness. His admiration soon led him to take the creed and formally join the tribe, adopting their warrior nomadic culture.
