Beautiful hand screened die-cut cover!Cargo Cult was a band from Austin, Texas featuring Randy “Biscuit” Turner of the Big Boys and Duane Denison before he moved to Chicago to form The Jesus Lizard. The band released an album, Strange Men Bearing Gifts on Touch and Go records in 1986. In 1987, they recorded demos for a second album, but broke up right after the recording and the record never came out. These demos are available here for the first time. These recordings show the band moving towards a darker sound and Duane Denison sharpening his trademark guitar sound and style.Fast forward to 2004. Biscuit has put together a new band with Maximum Rock’n’Roll and Left Of The Dial writer David Ensminger, The Texas Biscuit Bombs, playing shows in Texas. Their set list included many Texas punk classics (Really Red's Teaching You the Fear, The Dicks "Hate the Police", and of course many Big Boys numbers), as well as not-so-punk classics (ZZ Top, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Spencer Davis Gr
