Yuichiro Fujimoto - Kinoe

Yuichiro Fujimoto lives in Urayasu, Japan. After being discovered by Kim Hiorthøy and Smalltown Supersound his debut Album was released on STSS in Norway. Kinoe is his second CD and first stateside release. The music contains a delicate rawness to it and attention all things small. A unique character of music recommended for lovers of sound; its more like sashimi of music, the beauty lies in its simplicity, texture and quality, not relying on conventions of music practices. As well as STSS and ADR releases Yuichiro has upcoming compilation appearances on Staubgold (Germany) and Plop (Japan) as well as plans to work with Spekk (Japan). “Yuichiro Fujimoto`s music leans on Japan`s old and rich musical tradition, as well as modern Japanese electronic music with artists such as Nobukazu Takemura, Aki Tsuyuko and Susumu Yokota.
