Cursive Book 1

Fan and Sam take you along an easy and adorable journey of learning cursive! We have designed this to fit into any homeschool curriculum and to be useful for younger children who want to learn cursive, but also keeps older children engaged.  This program teaches cursive through precise movement patterns for each letter by using voice cues and finger repetition. Dash the pony helps kid remember it! This method is different than learning through visual cues only. Memorizing the letter formation without visual cues, but instead with voice/chanting cues is the best way to learn to write cursive.  Visual cues only (following dots, or colors, or arrows) will lead to using the eyes to guide and be more like drawing.  Writing is a different process than drawing. It needs to be an automatic, memorized pattern. That is the focus of our cursive program along with all our fun activities to keep kids engaged and loving it!
