The Dell EMC Data Domain DS60 Shelf Field Upgrade (U-DS60-DAE) is an expansion shelf designed to increase the storage capacity of compatible Dell EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems. This enclosure houses up to 60 x 3.5" SAS-2 drives (HDDs are not included), providing a high-density storage solution for backup, archiving, and disaster recovery data.As a field upgrade unit, the U-DS60-DAE is intended for installation at the customer's location to expand the capacity of an existing Data Domain system. It connects via 12 Gb Mini-SAS HD ports and is designed for rack mounting in a 5U form factor (4U for the shelf and 1U for cable management).NOTE: Due to its size and weight, this must be shipped via Freight.
