The Silver Peak Systems FWA-ASP1012 EC-XS is a compact, thin edge appliance designed to establish a secure and automated Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) fabric, ideally suited for small branch and remote office environments. With a WAN bandwidth capacity ranging from 2 to 200 Mbps and the ability to handle up to 256,000 simultaneous connections, the EdgeConnect XS facilitates efficient data transmission and network scalability. Connectivity features include four 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports configurable as LAN or WAN, along with two additional 10/100/1000 management ports and a console port. Security is a cornerstone of its design, offering 128-bit AES disk encryption and IPsec (256-bit AES) network encryption to safeguard data.
