Whereas the dial plate design was done in purple hues, this reinterpretation casts blue tones across its graveyard. “I really enjoy whimsical designs. Having to work with the alphabet for each design gets tedious, so this composition allowed each letter to take flight on its own. Something blue had been missing from my collection, so this seemed the perfect opportunity to play with those tones.
