About the Book – Waiting Written and illustrated in 2000 By David Grieco 72 pages "Waiting" began as a journal entry—one of many from a period in my life marked by deep reflection and transformation. I’ve kept journals since I was 11, documenting my days through words, thoughts, sketches and emotions. But every so often, something unusual happens: the written word begins to take on shape. Characters emerge, forms develop, and suddenly what I’m writing is no longer just a personal note—it’s the beginning of a story. This is the first one I am releasing of many.  This book was born from one of those rare moments. What started as a simple reflection evolved into a visual narrative—one that captured a turning point in my personal journey. I found that by translating my emotions and ideas into characters and images, I could express more than words alone ever could.
