Winter White Roses

Winter White Roses may be our most neutral floral to date!  Featuring roses in shades of white set amongst a bed of greenery and foliage in varying shades of green from light to dark, the white flowers really take center stage!   A bit of neon pink underpainting shows through in spots around the florals, and everything is set on a soft taupe-y background.  Winter White Roses was painted as part of my Flower of the Week Series, which allows me to really study one particular flower variety -- in this case, the rose -- and paint it multiple times and in multiple ways throughout the week.  Under the "PAINTINGS" tab, click on "Flower of the Week" collection to see other paintings in this series.
