Zinnia Silhouette: Navy

The Zinnia Silhouette Collection really happened a bit by accident, because as I was starting to paint a collection of colorful zinnia paintings, my Instagram followers kept mentioning how much they loved the initial painted sketches on the canvases before I started layering on the color! I got to thinking about how I would paint the pieces if the sketch WAS the painting, what things I might do differently or what details I might add and that is how the Zinnia Silhouettes were born!  I've loved dreaming up the various color combinations and the painting of each one has been a joy! This navy version is a deep, rich navy blue with crisp white flowers.  It has a polished, sophisticated feel about it.
