This is an exquisite organic coffee featuring a tasing profile of caramel, spice and brown sugar. We have 1,500 growers, who are also members from Cafe Organico Marcala. This coffee features a variety of Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Lempira, and Typica from the region Marcala, La Paz, Honduras at an altitude of 1300 - 1700M. The beans are grown in clay mineral soil and are fully washed and sun dried. Certification: SHG Certification/Grading of SHG means that the coffee was grown at high altitude, usually over 1,200 meters above sea level. At higher altitude the coffee is grown in cooler air and therefore takes longer to mature, flower and produce its berries.
