DAZEYES pigment dyed pant

Besides the Dazed og logo, DAZEYES (pronounced like daisies) was the first graphic I ever incorporated into printing for this brand. It’s special to me because it’s just a doodle I made and when I printed it real big on the back of a hoodie I felt it expressed a mood and a style that is me. This was one of those shamanic moments when I may not have really known how far it would go as a piece of art but looking back on all the work we’ve done, it’s still one of my favorite things. So, in honor of the anniversary of this design, I wanted to update the way I presented the graphic. Choosing a high quality, heavyweight pigment dyed hoodie and pant as well as rendering the artwork as embroidery is a good representation of the growth we have experienced as artists and curators of style. Sometimes making some adjustments sheds new light on a project or piece of art that may change your perspective on it.
