Wabi Dinner Plate

Here by popular demand, we're so excited to debut the Wabi Dinner Plate. Made with the same rustic beauty of our bowls, these new porcelain plates are meant to use everyday. Featuring an extended rim to give whatever you're plating a substantial frame, these plates make a statement on their own, or stack with our Wabi bowls to create an elegant, perfectly imperfect place setting. Bonus, these can also be used as chargers for our 10" dinner plates if you want to mix things up. Always inspired by nature, I sculpted the original plate in solid clay, layering thin strips of porcelain and smoothing to create a stone like feel. Plaster molds were made from these pieces. We cast each piece in porcelain, carefully finish the rims, then glaze them in our new layered glazes that give them extra beauty and unique character.
