Wabi Rice Bowl

The Wabi Bowls were designed with the intention of keeping things simple. Each rustic beauty was intended to fulfill an everyday need. The Rice Bowl is wonderful for cereal, overnight oats as well as soup and yes, a rice bowl. Always inspired by nature, I sculpted the original bowls in solid clay, layering and smoothing to create a stone like feel. Plaster molds were made from these pieces. We cast each piece in porcelain, carefully finish the rims, then glaze them in our new layered glazes that give them extra beauty and unique character. Dimensions5.5" x 3.75" About The GlazeThe granite glaze is our mussel glaze layered with swirls of our snowflake glaze. The combination is reminiscent of the stone.The foam glaze is our snowflake glaze layered with our clear glaze for a white on white effect that is very subtle and quiet.
