National Museum of Women in the Arts [#99]

One of the things that I like the most about living in Washington is that I'm within walking distance to world class museums. Louise Bourgeois, Lola Alvarez Bravo, Frida Kahlo and many other have their home at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (and a great place for first dates, btw). The museum is a formidable institution that brings a lot of character to the area. This former Masonic temple was added to the NRHP on February 18, 1987.About the artist:Carlos Carmonamedina studied Fine Arts in Mexico and Romania.
