The Carli Dana 44 Differential Guard provides protection to the damage-prone axle center section when chartering the unknown. One of the most overlooked and most important components, the axle’s center section hangs lowers on these straight-axle equipped Jeeps than any other component. Navigating the tires over obstacles and attempting to maneuver the pumpkin by line-of-sight become habitual but diff-protection is cheap insurance when not all obstacles can be predicted. Constructed entirely from cold-rolled 3/16″ American Steel, this internally structured differential guard fits directly over the factory differential cover to protect the axle-center section. The integrated skid plate protects the underside of the pumpkin making the center-structure of this guard 3/8″ thick (doubled 3/16″).
