19th Century Round Akha Tribe Woven Basket (Trade)

Antique storage basket from the Akha tribe in Thailand. A finely woven rattan basket that was originally used to store tea leaves, it has a top and bottom which connect to close up the basket. This tribal Asian basket has a dark brown weathered finish. *Era: Antique *Material: Rattan *Size: 15.5" (DM) x 7"(H) *Color: Brown *Condition: This basket is in very good condition considering the age of the piece. It has a beautiful age worn patina and shows wear common with age and usage. It may show loose strings or weaves.
