Handcrafted Memento Mori Rosary

• AUCTION • One-of-a-Kind Memento Mori Rosary Handcrafted through and through, this rosary is a labor of love. Beginning with the brass Crucifix, featuring my double-sided “Sacred Silhouette” design, individually sand-cast for a distinct finish. Next is the brass skull centerpiece, born from a project where I hand-carved a mini skull from wax and cast it in metal using the lost-wax investment process. Only two pieces were created from this project, and this is one of them. The brass spacers flanking the Pater beads were hand-formed and silver soldered shut for durability. I chose 8mm Ave beads made of unfinished ebony wood, which will naturally darken and develop a subtle sheen with use over time. The Pater beads are striking Dragon’s Blood Jasper, adding a bold, earthy beauty.
