The vineyard stretches over the Thau Bassin and the Herault river.The Domaine de la madone is a family owned single estate for many generations. It covers 15 hectares of wines planted on the high terroir des Castelnaux From low-yielding Gamay clones, the wine is mostly destemmed (90%-100%), goes through an 8-10 day maceration (for softer tannins & spice) and then traditional fermentation (no carbonic maceration).
