William Morris Tablemat

Inspired by William Morris’s (British, 1834–1896) Violet and Columbine, a textile design registered in 1883, this placemat was developed through contemporary weaving techniques with a nod to traditional craftsmanship. Sketching and digital rendering in the Chilewich design studio helped translate the inspiration into a modern woven structure, bringing new functionality to its organic forms, rich colors, and complex pattern repeats. To clean, simply wipe with soap, water and a soft sponge or cloth. Scrub stubborn stains with a soft bristle-brush and a bleach-based cleanser. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Kid friendly. Made in USA with Terrastrand yarns with 25% renewable vegetable content and 100% phthalate free. Measures 14 x 19 in.
