Jonesy- Revisited CD.  On ‘Revisited’, Jonesy take a trip down memory lane looking back at their scorching discography along with unearthing a release that never saw the light of day until now. Jonesy’s debut album offered a twisted, comical take on band life and relationships accentuated by their hilariously funny lyrics that border on Mad Magazine-esque depths of lyrical absurdity. On ‘Revisited’ they compile the 8 Jonesy originals from that epic debut album and add a newer, re-recorded version of the A side of their first 7". And like most bands, Jonesy have had their fair share of set backs over the years including a killer release that got shelved due to unfortunate circumstances. As history would have it, Jonesy were originally slated to release as an amazing EP called ‘Döppelgangbangers’ on the ill-fated Gods Candy Records. But unfortunately Gods Candy folded before that record could materialize. So those 4 brand new, unreleased tracks are finally being released for the very first time here. And they top this colossal collection off with a very special, re-worked version of the B-side of their debut 7" originally called ‘(I Just Wanna) Cum On Your Face’. This updated response track, entitled ‘(I Just Wanna) Sit On Your Face', was recorded exclusively for this release with completely different lyrics written from a horny babes perspective featuring lead vocals by the one and only Ramona Tornado. For the uninitiated Jonesy sound like an amped-up powder keg of The Heartbreakers, The Dictators, Dead Boys, AC/DC, Kiss, and the Ramones. A bulletproof combination across 14 bristling tracks fired off with a barrage of chunky guitar solos and irresistibly insane lyrics that you can’t help but sing along to.
