Here Is Me

To celebrate and honor those affected by Breast Cancer, I have created a series of 4 pieces during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Research in hopes of finding a cure for this dreaded disease.  As an artist, it is an honor to use my art to celebrate others. In this piece, I want to celebrate all the brave women I know who are facing health care issues and fighting for their lives. I send them Good Vibes, Good Things, Positivity and most importantly Love. They inspire me and I hope to uplift them as a result.  About this Piece: A paper collage bikini top/bra is the centerpiece of this composition. Made from repurposed cardboard and covered in recycled tissue paper. Wire, pull tabs, metal scraps and a bell accent the bikini/bra and fortify it with strength. Hearts and Pink Ribbons made from wire and metal scraps are found throughout the piece. Twigs stained white frame the piece and give it a rustic dimension.  Dimensions: 6” x 6” x
