“‘America- Homecoming “ Fine Art by Deanna Caroon My inspiration for this piece came from a few places.  My nephew-in-law mentioned me painting an American flag and it got me to thinking. I was thinking about my husband who served in the Af Special Forces and deployed 13 times. I thought of all of the times he came home from those deployments, the excitement my children and I felt on those homecoming’s. I thought of how many times I would worry about him not making it to that day. I am so proud of all he did for our country , so selfless, so brave. He retired a little over a year back and now I know he is home with us for good and that feeling is so so amazing .
