Years ago, I found myself longing to keep Christ at the the center of Christmas. I wanted to welcome Him into my heart & home as He should have been welcomed in when He was born. So, I grabbed some crowns, made a delicious meal, asked my family members to dress up, and we celebrated King Jesus that Christmas! Since then, we’ve changed up the date of our feast, invited others to join in, purchased crowns we’ll be able to wear for years, and included a liturgy we read together. Some years, we have little ones who have a 15 minute attention span so we make the best use of it. Other years, are kids are able to hang for an hour as we read and respond together. The goal is to make this little feast something we all look forward to each year.
