The gondola is a traditional flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat that was the chief means of transportation in Venice, Italy for centuries. There were an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 gondolas in use during the 17th-18th centuries. Today there are 400-500 and they are used primarily as rides for paying tourists. I think I photographed all of them!  Printed on archival acid-free photo paper and packaged in a clear sleeve with a rigid photo envelope for safe shipping. Price includes print only and does not include a frame. All prints are signed in lower right corner of the image by the artist unless otherwise specified at time of order.
