What we think: We didn't expect this to be in the vein of Shalimar, Le Lion, etc. But it is, in a really nice way! It's also less challenging than Shalimar or Le Lion can be for some people. Bijou Romantique has a regal lemon opening bolstered by warmth, dusty benzoin with rich but not too gourmandy vanilla, patchouli that doesn't scream "patchouli," a slightly aromatic side, balsamic vibes, and gets resinous with an ambery feel. It also gets more powdery as it progresses. It's somehow soft and yet intense at the same time. We like it! Part of our "For Fans of Chanel Le Lion" Collection.
