House of Matriarch Orca Sample

What we think: We love it! The way the ambergris is done here is fantastic, even if you're not normally into ambergris as a note. Orca is all about warm, resinous amber, slinking slightly leathery labdanum, vivid ambergris, a touch of honey for sweetness (but not in a way that gets cloying!), a cool soft edge of frankincense-like smoke, and smooth vanilla-like benzoin. Despite the depth of some of those notes, it's also lighter than the typical resinous amber scent, meaning you can wear it in situations that might not be appropriate for thick scents with massive projection.
