What we think: Crying of Evil opens with leather, which develops a smoky olibanum-like edge. There's also sweetness present from the beginning, in a violet and rose type of way. As the scent develops, creamy amber and sandalwood start to come out more. By the drydown, it becomes more of a balance of sweet and incense-y and leather, in a way we find  cohesive and appealing.
