What we think: There's a suave smoky edge to it that smells super intriguing and captivating to us. It's cozy and yet sexy at the same time. The "bitter orange" really doesn't get that bitter - nor is it too sweet, just the right touch of brightness. The ambrette seed also doesn't smell overly musky, and the oud is certainly not the animalic/pungent kind. To My Father takes notes that can sometimes be intense/rough and smooths them out, without sacrificing their alluring qualities. Overall a very well-blended scent that we enjoy a lot!
