Senneh rugs, originating from Sanandaj in Kurdistan, are known for their fine, delicate designs, high knot density, and refined craftsmanship. They are prized for their intricate floral and geometric patterns, often featuring a boteh (paisley) motif. Senneh rugs are typically made with high-quality wool and cotton, using natural dyes to create a soft and muted color.Usually primitive & tribal rugs have coarser weave compared to city rugs but Seneh rugs have very high KPSI. The one that I am offeing here, is a late 19th century with interesting Fish design or Herati, which is the main signature of Seneh rugs, mostly come in this pattern and blue medallion has given even more character to this beautiful Seneh.
