DETAIL ROUGHOUT CARVER - Carving Knife

A thicker blade for roughout work and a nice point for larger detail work. Good for stop cuts, flat plane carving and general roughing out of the carving. We have had a lot of people say they use this 1-1/4" carving knife for chip carving, even though that was not its original purpose. The "Detail Roughout Carver" is one of our carving knives of choice for the beginner wood carver. These wood carving knives come to you sharp and ready to use. Knife Handle Length: Handles are approximately 5 1/4" in length. This does vary due to the fact that all the handles are handmade. There may be slight variations in the size and shape.
