This is the what and why of Defenders Northwest - our business was built around teaching owners mechanical confidence through 300tdi engine conversion projects.  While we can do the conversion project for you, our preference is to work with you though our Owner Managed Restoration Training Program to transform your tired old engine into a long running, mechanical diesel workhorse.   300Tdi with conversion/installation parts kit to include: 300Tdi Engine, R380 Transmission, LT230 1:4 Defender Transfer Box, Transmission Brake, Front & Rear Propshaft (specify D90, D110, D130), Clutch kit, flywheel, Bell Housing, Bell Housing Adaptor, Turbo, Intake and Exhaust hoses, and piping, lift pump, vacuum pump, injector pump, injectors, timing kit, fan with clutch, radiator, intercooler, engine mounting, transmission mounting, exhaust pipes, and other misc hardware and mounting brackets to complete the installation.  Additional items may be required depending on existing vehicle configuration.
