Authentic Handcrafted Navajo Sterling Silver Multi-Stone Inlay Link Bracelet
This beautiful sterling silver link style bracelet was handcrafted by Navajo artist B. Gia. Each link has a channel inlay design featuring stones of spiny oyster, opal, lapis, green turquoise, blue turquoise and other genuine stones that are set into a smooth sterling silver bezel. Each link is approximately 1" L x 0.25" W. The bracelet overall is approximately 7.5" L x 0.25" W. This bracelet is signed by the artist and stamped. The art of inlay in jewelry was originally started by the people of the Zuni Pueblo of New Mexico, although many other tribes such as the Navajo have started to use this technique in their designs. Channel inlay is where gemstones are precisely cut and set into pre-formed silver channels, that allow the artist to use a range of different stones in their pieces. This technique requires the craftsman to be very skilled within silversmithing and possess complex lapidary skills. Bracelet Fitting Guide: Wrap tape measure around wrist you plan on wearing the brace
