This is a hand painted vintage octagonal porcelain trinket box designed by the Takahashi company for export from Japan to San Francisco. It dates to the 1970's and has a very unique decor that combines a botanical pattern with hearts. The color scheme includes blues, rust red, green, pink, yellow, and white. The diameter is approximately 2.5 inches, depth 1.5 inches.
