Upon her diagnosis, Silvia found that eating a gluten-free diet helped to alleviate some of her uncomfortable digestive symptoms. Not wanting to give up one of her favorite foods (and a household staple as her husband, Michele, is a pizziaolo), Silvia searched for a good gluten free pizza she could make at home in a pinch. With her search constantly leading to disappointing results, Silvia worked with Michele to develop a recipe that tasted not only good for gluten free pizza, but as good as the pizza she knew and missed. Once her recipe was perfected, Silvia realized she was in a position to help other people with allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances to gluten.
