Delver's dice are carefully crafted from a variety of domestic and exotic woods. While wood is a durable material and each set has a durable finish applied, a bit more care must be taken with wooden dice. It's best to roll your wooden dice on a soft surface and store them with care. Each set comes in a foam lined tin for safe keeping.  *(Stabilizing is the process of saturating the pores and grain structure of wood with resin. This strengthens and adds weight to the wood.) *Items pictured are examples. Since wood is a natural material, each product will have a unique appearance. Color and grain pattern can vary within each wood species. Stabilized buckeye burl wood dice sets weigh approximately 0.95 oz/26 g compared to a standard plastic dice set at 1 oz/ 28g.
