Bokeh Rose is part of my new series RAIN or SHINE. The Rain and Shine series is based on photos combined as a play between reality and abstraction. I reference bokeh photography which is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in out-of-focus parts of an image. I've spent many a rainy day photographing the world through my windshield that T then use as reference for my rain paintings. DENNIS CRAYON Getting to know DENNIS CRAYON Dennis Crayon Realist Contemporary Realism I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the State University of New York and later earned a diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in painting. It was there that he began to learn classical painting. I later moved to Washington, D.C., and studied at the Zoll Studio of Fine Art in Timonium, Maryland, fully delving into classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil. I am an active member of Washington, D.C.’s artistic community. My work has been shown locally and nationally
