Organic Sencha Shizu-7132

This is not your typical sencha. Produced by the humble hands of Takayoshi Sugiyama and his staff, this organic sencha is made using the Shizu-7132 cultivar. Hailing from the Shimizu ward of Shizuoka City, producers initially thought it wouldn't be a top seller, and therefore didn't give it a nickname. Recent years have proven, though, that Shizu-7132 has the potential to become something great. It was later given a slightly more relaxed name, "Machiko". Shizu-7132 has gained recent popularity because of its distinct flavor and aroma. Let's just say, we might be able to celebrate spring all year long with this tea.
