A 1947 USGS report lists it as a past producer of gold and silver, and the workings consisted of 360 feet of horizontal workings off of a 75’ shaft.  I got a depth reading of 66’ using a laser, so you’ll likely have some loose gravel at the bottom from natural erosion to remove if you decide to reopen the mine. But we did some extensive testing in the general vicinity of the mine with an Olympus Delta Premium handheld XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analyzer/spectrom
