The race was won by Needles and jockeyed by David Erb. The perfect gift for a 1956 birth or anniversary. The 1956 Glass design came in 4 different mistakes/variations of print. all differences are in the stars of the top of the glass and and the tails of the race horses. shows is a 2 star, 2 tails variation.  The 1956 Mint Julep Glass features a frosted glass with yellow, black and brown print. The image features a character drawing of the Churchill downs twin spires and horses racing. all past Kentucky Derby Winners are listed on the bottom half of the glass.
