Liquid Dream

Have you ever spent time underwater? The reverbrations of sound wane away as you descend below the surface, leading to a serene silence (unless interrupted by the whining screw of a passing boat). Without the distraction of sound your visual system is able to take over your senses. You might notice ripples in the sand with refracted sunlight zipping through the troughs and valleys. You might notice the colours become so vibrant that with the shimmer of sunlight, it too seems alive.
