Mexican Folk Art Pottery - Green Sally

Welcome. This is a beautiful Blue Sally (Salamander) made south of the border in Mexico by folks who have plied this trade for decades. No one can create color and festive life out of ceramics like the folk artists of Mexico. These colors are brilliant and rich, iridescent and cheerful. Sweet Sally has the softest blue eyes giving us a loving sideways glance. Her red lips appear as if she is ready to speak to us (I'm assuming she is a she!). Her rich green head, feet, and tail give her class. Her floral body of all the other colors gives her kindness. The Talavera that come to my store are first pick and of the highest quality. The glazes are brighter, the shiny surface is superb and the chips and scratches are non-existent. And most importantly, these prices are the best!
