We ask that all participants arrive 5 MINUTES prior to class. Meet Ahalya Ahalya started dancing as a child, learning the fun and popular Bollywood dance moves at the time. This love for dance continued to grow and ultimately culminated in joining a competitive dance team in college. Ahalya led the University of Pennsylvania's garba-raas team as choreography chair in her junior year, and as captain in her senior year. Like most dancers, she loves choreographing and performing, but the one thing she loves most is teaching. Her favorite part about garba-raas is the contagious energy, and how powerful the moves are. She has 4+ years of experience in choreography, 2+ years of experience teaching, and has been to several collegiate competitions in both the Raas circuit and Fusion circuit (as a guest dancer on Penn Dham
