Cupped Hands Bird Feeder
Original artwork by Michael Gentilucci. Copyright Protected by Designer Stone, Inc. Michael's inspiration for this sculpture … "In Designer Stone's early years, my Uncle Frank surprised Alisa and I with an unexpected visit. He visited for awhile but before returning home, he pressed a check into my hands which I politely refused. While cupping his own hands in front of me, he explained, "Michael your hands must always remain open to except life's gifts and when possible, give to others". I accepted his gift and was so inspired by this gesture that I sculptured this piece and gave it to him as a wedding gift." Maybe this sculpture will make a thoughtful thank you gift for someone in your life. This life-sized sculpture rests gracefully on an ornate triangular base, symbolizing offering, gratitude or remembrance. It makes a thoughtful thank-you gift or a peaceful accent for a desk, garden nook or altar. Fill it with birdseed, water, or a single rosebud for a simple, meaningful display
