foot crush · lunar · volcanic ash (rofe) Puro Rofe, a project started by winemaker Rayco Fernández, with the goal of revitalization and recuperation of the vines from the unique terroir of Lanzarote.  The pure, volcanic rock juice of 100+ year old vines on black, sandy soils is ever so apparent here in this lucky grab of the first vintage for this blanco.  Well-evolved, ever so aromatic and mineral-rich, flinty, saline bites.
