Listening to electric guitars acoustically can reveal a lot. With this guitar, aside from a clear ringing tone, there is a distinct timbre and a nice balance across the entire fingerboard that translates well when plugging it in to an amp. Also, with this model one can appreciate how versatile it is. It has a custom built Fralin Unbucker in the neck position with a single coil option, 2 different middle positions to choose from (a nice unexpected bonus) and a custom control plate so one can exploit the volume and tone knobs easier like on a Strat.
