Wallace Detroit Guitars uses reclaimed wood from abandoned houses and buildings in Detroit to make electric guitar bodies. The instruments emphasize the heritage of Detroit and build on the city's musical legacy. Each guitar is hand built to demanding specifications, and features high-quality hardware pickups. The wood used to create this guitar was reclaimed from the Historic Packard Automotive Plant in Detroit Michigan Specs: Pine body ; maple '50s style oval "C" neck; 12" radius maple fingerboard; 25.5" scale length; 22 frets; bone nut; 1 11/16" nut width. Hand-rubbed Burgundy-tinted polyurethane finish, chrome hardware. Gator Hard shell case included. Weight: 7 lbs 6 oz.
