How does each woman relate to her body? This question has been so much a part of the artist's work since the beginning of her painting career. The female body as an object; an object of shame or pride or bargaining.  This piece is one from the artists latest works in a series titled “In the Flesh,” asking the question: What is it like to be in your own flesh?
