1000-Arm Chenrezig Thangka

Beautiful thangka of 1000 Arm Chenrezig handpainted by traditional artists in the mountains of Nepal. Chenrezig,, Avalokitesvara or Lokeshwar (Sanskrit), is the guardian bodhisattva of the Mahayana. He is considered to be the essence of the compassion of all the Buddhas. He is pictured here with a thousand arms and his inner two hands hold a lotus between them.
